Bio

Mary Bailey, MD, is the medical director of neurology/neuroimmunology for Hartford HealthCare’s Fairfield Region. ?A diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, she joined Hartford HealthCare in October 2025.? Prior to joining Hartford HealthCare, she was the regional medical director of multiple sclerosis at Trinity Health of New England's Mandell MS Centers. Dr. Bailey received fellowship training in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at Yale-New Haven Hospital’s department of neurology. After earning her medical degree at Yale Medical School, Dr. Bailey completed a residency in neurology, also at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was an assistant professor in neurology at the Yale School of Medicine and focused her time on multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunological diseases. She is very active in medical education and served as the MS fellowship director at Yale. Dr. Bailey has authored and co-authored peer reviewed articles and other publications on MS and has been a principal investigator in multiple clinical trials on MS. She is passionate about educating patients, their families, and caregivers, on MS, the disease process, and symptomatic management.
