Founded in 2003, the National Dispensary of Hope is a leading provider of pharmaceuticals to uninsured patients through a growing network of dispensing sites across the country sustained by local partnerships. The Dispensary has collected and distributed tens of millions of dollars worth of pharmaceuticals and filled more than 200,000 prescriptions for patients who otherwise couldn’t afford them. The Hope Charitable Pharmacy of Greater Bridgeport is dedicated to serving low income and uninsured individuals in the Bridgeport Community. Our team is also bilingual in languages such and English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Physicians, We Need Your Help
The Hope Charitable Pharmacy of Greater Bridgeport needs continual support from local physicians who can donate excess, unexpired medications. Medications such as inhalers and insulin are in especially high demand. For details and information about what can be donated, please email us or call 203.332.5653.
Disposal/Donation of Unused Medication for the General Public
People often ask if they can donate their unused medication. The state of Connecticut does NOT allow for donations.
The Hope Charitable Pharmacy of Greater Bridgeport cannot accept medications from individuals as donations OR to dispose of them. Please see below the options for Connecticut.
